Marriage is an esteemed religious duty and a cornerstone of Islamic society. It is said that getting married fulfills half of one’s religious obligations. Our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) stated:

“When a person gets married, he has fulfilled half of his religion. So, let him fear Allah regarding the remaining half.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

However, with the rise in inflation and the unavailability of basic necessities, the financial strain of providing dowry and covering wedding expenses has made it challenging for poor families to marry off their daughters with dignity. To address this, KGNWT has proudly spent over Rs. 30 million towards conducting Collective Wedding Ceremonies (Ijtimai Shaadi) for 500+ couples.
