Healthcare for All!
The healthcare system in rural areas of Pakistan faces a myriad of challenges, including, inadequate infrastructure, a shortage of trained medical staff, limited access to essential medicines, and insufficient funds. Consequently, the prevalence of infectious diseases such as, tuberculosis (TB), malaria, and hepatitis is alarmingly high in these regions.
The situation is particularly dire in the poorest areas of the country, such as, Tharparkar, Diplo, and the Langoh Peer areas of Sindh, where infant and maternal mortality rates are disproportionately high. Poverty, malnutrition, poor sanitation, and lack of clean water exacerbate the poor health conditions in these areas, leaving people in desperate need of healthcare facilities.
Health Challenges in Poor Areas of Pakistan:
- Tuberculosis (TB)
- Malaria
- Hepatitis
- Diarrheal diseases
- Malnutrition-related conditions
To alleviate the suffering of these communities, KGNWT has been organizing medical camps in these areas, providing free consultations, medicines and other essential items. However, we recognize that there are countless other areas in our country where living conditions are similarly substandard and where people urgently require medical attention.
KGNWT is committed to extending healthcare services to other deprived areas, but this mission is impossible without your continued support. Join hands with us and help ensure that all people have access to the healthcare they need for a healthy and happy life!
